These are some of the past adventures that DJ’s has organized for our diving enthusiasts: CURACAO This year we stayed on the opposite side of the isalnd, close to the sea acquarium and lots of great restaurants. Diving was great as usual with lots to see. Flying granards, and lots of chain eels. Weather. LIVEABOARD ON SHEARWATER Dan headed his liveaboard adventure with Jim Abernethy. The group dove all around the Bahamas and had their infamous shark dive. A great dive-dive-dive adventure. BARBADOS: A unique island with lots of see and do. Diving was great, but different. No current, but all dives were at one depth. Either 40 feet, 70 feet, 60 feet for the entire dive. The GAP area had lots of street vendors and restaurants within walking distance. BONAIRE
What a great trip. DJ’s stayed at Buddy Dive and dove with Alex and Zoo. Boats were great, resort was fabulous and the diving right off the dock was superb. We saw frog fish and sea horses almost every dive, The Salt Pier shore dive was one of our favorites. DJ’s had so much fun, we are going back again next year.
CARRIBEAN EXPLORER DJ’s took their first trip on the Carribean Explorer to Saba, St. Kitts and Statia. This 110 ft. liveaboard lived up to all our expectations. The boat held 18 people comfortably, the crew was not only personable, but very helpful and fun to be around. Each room had its own washroom and shower, the food was great, the diving was spectacular. The trip is one that will be repeated. After each dive, there was either a gourmet meal waiting for us or a great home baked snack along with coffee and soda. After the night dives, we were greeted with Hot Chocolate with Baileys and a warm towel. What more could one ask for!
  
WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA This trip was sold out. Drift diving, fun in the sun, we can’t wait until the group gets back and tells us some exciting dive stories. Watch for updates in a few weeks. Turtles, turtles, turtles. An abundance of turtles can be seen on each and every dive. West Palm Beach is known for its drift diving and fish life. Jump in the water, relax while the current takes you past some of the most beautiful coral formations and fish life that you can imagine. When you are done, just surface and climb back on the boat. Never have to worry about navigation when you are diving with DJ’s and Abernethy Adventures.
CRYSTAL RIVER Join us on a unique snorkeling adventure with those loveable Manatees. The best time for this trip is early January when we travel to Crystal River and 3 Sisters Springs to snorkel with the Manatees. Friendly, inquisitive, these sea cows are always waiting for a hand to scratch their backs. A great experience for everyone and a unique photo opportunities. Also included on this trip is a Drift Snorkel down Rainbow River. Crystal Clear water that is 72 degrees all year round. Join us on this fun adventure. |
